Our sustainability strategy is based on three central pillars: social, ecological and economic responsibility. As a family-run company, we focus on long-term, sustainable values and strive to continuously improve our sustainability performance in all business areas. Through targeted measures in the real estate and construction machinery sector, we combine economic efficiency with social and ecological responsibility.

Enviromental

Climate protection and the responsible use of resources are top priorities for FRENKEN® Holding GmbH. We focus on saving emissions and reducing our carbon footprint by investing in our portfolios, energy-efficient technologies and the increased use of renewable energy sources. In our Real Estate and Construction Equipment divisions, we attach great importance to resource-conserving processes in order to make a positive contribution to the environment and society in the long term.

Social

At FRENKEN® Holding GmbH, we focus on people and their needs. We work closely with local stakeholders to understand their requirements and jointly develop sustainable solutions that create long-term added value for everyone involved. In doing so, we focus on promoting local structures by working with regional partners, trades and service providers in order to strengthen local value creation and jobs.

Governance

Our business practices are what define us - characterized by our values and high entrepreneurial standards. A key component of our governance is comprehensive risk management, which identifies potential challenges at an early stage and ensures our long-term stability. At the same time, we consistently integrate ESG criteria into our decision-making processes in order to incorporate environmental, social and corporate responsibility into all strategic considerations.

As a family-run company with a clear focus on manage-to-ESG strategies for existing properties and digital construction machinery trading, our objectives and measures actively contribute to achieving the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In particular, we contribute to the following goals:

Focus on social, subsidized and affordable housing, access to affordable energy.

Creation and promotion of measures that strengthen the quality of the workplace, morale and health of our employees.

7. Affordable and clean energy
Use of resource-conserving and renewable energy sources, with the aim of building all new buildings to the KfW 40 standard in a resource-conserving and taxonomy-compliant manner.

9. Industry, innovation and infrastructure
The efficient use of construction machinery and modern technologies help to conserve resources and increase efficiency. Our development planning is carried out in close cooperation with stakeholders and local authorities in order to create sustainable and needs-based solutions.

11. Sustainable cities and communities
The company improves the quality and sustainability of residential and commercial properties by modernizing and refurbishing existing properties..

13. Climate protection measures
The goal of CO2 neutrality at company level and the development of property-specific decarbonization strategies.
