FRENKEN® Holding acquires residential complex near Bonn

März 29, 2024

- Takeover of five apartment buildings from WECK-Glaswerk insolvency
- Purchase of residential properties from special situations with development potential
- Energy modernization of existing buildings planned

The owner-managed FRENKEN® Holding has acquired five apartment buildings in an established residential area near Bonn. The property comes from the insolvency estate of the long-established manufacturer of the well-known WECK jars and represents an attractive addition to the company's growing real estate portfolio.

As part of FRENKEN® Holding's investment strategy, measures are planned to upgrade the energy efficiency of the existing buildings. This should not only improve the sustainability of the property, but also create additional residential value in the long term.

"Despite the current challenging conditions on the real estate markets, we are very pleased with the acquisition of this promising residential complex. We remain true to our policy of selectively looking for investment opportunities with development potential," explains Maurice Frenken, Managing Partner of FRENKEN® Holding.

The family-owned company continues to focus on valuable investments with substance in stable and sought-after residential locations. The parties involved have agreed not to disclose the details of the transaction.

The transaction was advised and brokered by BNP Paribas Real Estate GmbH.
